Why are flowers on Valentine's Day more expensive?
A simple case of supply and demand
The demand for roses, particularly red, is far greater than supply. This is the case not only in Thailand but in all other countries that celebrate Valentine's Day. Every Valentine's day, the Thailand market has to compete with other countries for quality roses. To cope with the phenomenal ‘increase’ in demand that occurs only once a year, and to ensure that we maintain the 'Flowers2Thailand.com' standard and quality of roses that you have come to expect, it is necessary for us to raise our prices.
What if I need to request a delivery time?
During peak times such as Valentine's Day, we offer FREE delivery to all business and residential addresses. Business deliveries are guaranteed to arrive during office hours (by 5pm) and residential addresses before 7pm (local time).
Unfortunately, the demand upon our resources at this time is very high and we are unable to offer timed deliveries during the period. If there is any uncertainty as to the recipient's location or movements that day, we recommend that the flowers be sent to the residential address.
Valentine's day checklist
In order to meet the high levels of Valentine's Day demand and ensure timely delivery, below is a general checklist of things you should consider when placing order.
- Order Early
It's never too early to place your order for Valentine's Day. Product is always limited so the earlier you order, the larger your selection. We will stop taking orders when we reach our limit.
- Provide Clear Information
To help us serve you most efficiently, please provide as much contact information (recipient) as possible. Phone number should be entered.
- Check if your recipient is available
As Valentine's day falls on a Saturday this year, make sure that the recipient is available to accept the delivery at the specified address.
